Patricio Pouchulu and Susanne Biek heve been associate partners since 1998 and they are currently experimenting with the concept of  a "mobile office", working at the same time from different places and toward different parts of the World.

Some projects are thought while traveling, crossing Europe or the Atlantic Ocean, and then designed in Munich, London, or Buenos Aires. 

The office is currently involved in international competitions. See Website : Meran Bath, Italy, 1999, GEM, Great Egyptian Museum, Egypt, 2002. In 2000 they founded Avenger Architects, doing exhibitions and conceptual installations.

The Pouchulu website has just been updated to include their stunning submission for the Grand Egyptian Museum Competition, pictured above right. 

If you do nothing else today, you must visit the Pouchulu website and spend a good  hour or so marveling through this unique portfolio. If you are an architect worthy of the title you will be left charged, renewed and inspired. Pouchulu's work has that effect.

The Pouchulu Biek vision for the "mobile practice" serves as an inspiration to thousands of African architects stranded in the diminishing or stagnant economies of Africa. We hope one of the many schools of architecture in Africa has the vision to drag the master to our shores. We need Light, soon ...
